Leah R. LaFramboise

Area of Emphasis

Leah LaFramboise is an associate in the Energy and Natural Resources Group of Babst Calland. Ms. LaFramboise counsels various energy, oil, gas and mineral-related clients on transactional matters involving oil and gas leasing and development, and rendering title opinions. She provides services involving due diligence projects for various types of transactions, including those involving the acquisition and divestiture of oil and gas and coal interests. Ms. LaFramboise also has experience assisting oil, gas and mineral-related clients with drafting and obtaining documentation necessary to cure title defects.


Ms. LaFramboise received her B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations from Pennsylvania State University, as well as minors in Spanish and Sociology. She received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Before joining Babst Calland, she was an associate at a law firm concentrating on oil, gas and mineral law, as well as corporate law. She also spent several years as an associate at an immigration law firm where she specialized in family-based immigration, asylum and immigration litigation.
