AREAS OF EMPHASIS

Nino Legeza is an associate in the Litigation Services Group of Babst Calland. His practice includes commercial, construction and environmental litigation. Mr. Legeza’s previous experiences in manufacturing, R & D and corporate settings allow him to bring a unique perspective to his practice, and enable him to better understand the practical concerns and overall goals of his commercial clients.

BACKGROUND

Mr. Legeza received his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2006.  During his law school career, he completed a judicial externship for the Honorable Joseph Del Sole, then President Judge of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Legeza received a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Engineering from Alfred University in 1996. After graduation, he was employed by Guardian Industries Corporation, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of glass and glass fabricated products, where he held several managerial positions. In his capacity as the Upper Line Manager of an automotive quality float glass production facility, Mr. Legeza was responsible for all aspects of the glass making process for his facility, as well as providing technical support to sister facilities also making specialized automotive quality products. His position required regular interaction not only with the plant’s operating personnel, but also with research scientists and corporate officers and directors.

MEMBERSHIPS AND AFFILIATIONS

Mr. Legeza was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2006. He is a member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations. Mr. Legeza has been recognized as one of Pennsylvania’s up-and-coming lawyers since 2011, according to an annual survey published in Philadelphia magazine.
