Area of Emphasis
Ben Bolinger is an associate in the Business Services and Energy & Natural Resources Groups of Babst Calland. Mr. Bolinger’s practice includes real estate and natural resource law. He concentrates on oil and gas well development, including title analysis and leasing issues for natural gas well developers.
Background
Mr. Bolinger graduated summa cum laude from the Robert E. Cook Honors College at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2007, earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science with a pre-law concentration. While in college, he was selected to spend two weeks in Ghana studying developing economies. Mr. Bolinger earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2010. While in law school, he served in the Criminal Practice Clinic where he helped present a successful habeas petition on behalf of a man wrongfully incarcerated for over 15 years.
Prior to joining Babst Calland, Mr. Bolinger practiced as an associate with an oil and gas boutique firm. While in law school, he interned under the Honorable Nora Barry Fischer of the United State District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. During college, Mr. Bolinger worked as a title abstractor for natural gas leases in western Pennsylvania.

Mr. Bolinger is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
