Josh Hall is an associate in the Energy & Natural Resources and Business Services Groups of Babst Calland. Mr. Hall provides services in the areas of real estate, energy law and mineral law, specializing in oil, gas and mineral title opinions. He has experience drafting leases and mineral conveyances and is familiar with issues involving property rights and the energy industry.
Background
Mr. Hall received his B.A. in history from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001. In 2007, he received his J.D. from Duquesne University. While at Duquesne, he served as the Student Pro Bono Coordinator. Additionally, he spent time as an intern at the Neighborhood Legal Services Association. Mr. Hall has assisted pro bono clients in the areas of land and tenant law, bankruptcy and protection from abuse petitions. Upon graduation, he served as a law clerk to Judge Gerald R. Solomon in the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas.
Prior to joining Babst Calland, Mr. Hall practiced as an associate at two Western Pennsylvania law firms focusing on energy law. In addition to his experience in oil, gas and mineral law, he has also been trained as a title abstractor.
