Melissa Krasnow is an associate in the Energy & Natural Resources and Business Services Groups of Babst Calland.
Ms. Krasnow counsels various energy, oil, gas and mineral-related clients on transaction matter as they relate to gas title issues and opinions. In addition, she also has experience in handling various corporate and real estate matters.
Background
Ms. Krasnow graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in Political Science and Communications and Rhetoric. She received her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law, where she was active in the Women’s Law Association and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. While in law school, she served as law clerk for Prudential Realty Company. After law school, Ms. Krasnow was a law clerk with Range Resources Appalachia, LLC at its Pennsylvania headquarters in Canonsburg, PA, where she was responsible for the title, leasing and drilling aspects of the oil and gas divisions of the company.
Memberships and Affiliations
Ms. Krasnow was admitted to the Pennsylvania bar and the Western District of Pennsylvania in 2010. She is on the Board of Directors for RiverQuest and active with the Pittsburgh Council of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).
