The hiring, retention and inclusion of legal professionals from a variety of diverse backgrounds is a key initiative of our firm’s strategic plan. As part of our commitment to diversity and inclusion, Babst Calland is an active member of the newly-formed Pittsburgh Legal Diversity and Inclusion Coalition (PLD&IC). This coalition of Pittsburgh attorneys from a number of prominent law firms and corporate law departments is dedicated to working together to increase diversity and foster inclusion in the legal community. Managing Shareholder Donald C. Bluedorn serves as an officer on the Coalition’s Board. Through our involvement in the Pittsburgh Legal Diversity and Inclusion Coalition and other diversity and inclusion initiatives, Babst Calland actively engages in various professional and community outreach and networking opportunities in each of our regional offices and throughout the country.
