Amy T. Oven

Amy Oven is an associate in the Energy and Natural Resources Group of Babst Calland. Mrs. Oven counsels various energy, oil, gas and mineral-related clients on transaction matters, including title examination, title curative, oil and gas title opinions, division order title opinions and due diligence.
Mrs. Oven graduated from Penn State University in 2004, earning a B.S. in Crime, Law, and Justice. She received her J.D. from University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2007.
After law school, Mrs. Oven worked in-house at energy companies as a Senior Division Order Analyst focusing on Marcellus and Utica Shale development, including negotiating Take in Kind Agreements, Gas Sharing Agreements, as well as Joint Operating and Joint Venture Agreements. Prior to joining Babst Calland, Mrs. Oven was a contract attorney for a law firm in Pittsburgh, Pa. and focused her practice on mineral title, lease agreements and land use contracts.

Mrs. Oven is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
