Chelsea R. Heinz

Chelsea Heinz is an associate in the Energy and Natural Resources Group of Babst Calland. Ms. Heinz counsels various energy, oil, gas and mineral-related clients on transaction matters related to oil and gas title issues and opinions.

Background

Ms. Heinz graduated summa cum laude from Alfred University in 2009, where she earned a B.A. in Psychology and Biology and was selected for membership in Phi Beta Kappa.  She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from University at Buffalo School of Law in 2013, where she was a Graduate Research Fellow.  After law school, Ms. Heinz was an associated attorney at a Pittsburgh-based law firm where she advised clients on mineral title issues and drafted title opinions.  Prior to joining Babst Calland, Ms. Heinz was the Appalachian General Counsel of a mineral acquisitions company.

Ms. Heinz is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Oklahoma.  She is a member of the Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Oklahoma Bar associations.  Ms. Heinz is also a member of the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation and the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation.
