Mackenzie A. Kline

Mack Kline is an associate in the Energy and Natural Resources Group at Babst Calland. His practice focuses on advising clients on transactional matters related to energy, oil and gas, and mineral title issues and opinions.


Mr. Kline graduated from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in 2010, earning his B.A. in History. He received his J.D. from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2013. During law school, he clerked for the Court of Common Pleas of Greene County, Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining Babst Calland, Mr. Kline worked in land administration for a Texas-based oil and gas company in its Charleston, West Virginia office where he managed numerous contracts and various working, royalty, and overriding royalty interests. He has also examined mineral title in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio for large firms in West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

Mr. Kline is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) and the Michael Late Benedum Chapter of the AAPL.
