This presentation addresses how to use expert witnesses most effectively\, including their expert reports\, qualifications\, and direct and cross examination. \nBetsy Dupuis – “Land Use/Zoning Law Update”\nDevelopment in Pennsylvania\, including most projects involving environmental issues\, is governed by the Municipalities Planning Code and local zoning and land use laws. The application of local land use laws frequently involves the interplay of those laws with state and federal law. This session will review significant land use cases decided over the last year in Pennsylvania\, with a focus on review standards\, standing requirements\, preemption doctrine and constitutional law.
