DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, December 6\, 2022\, Attorney Gina Falaschi will present “Emerging Trends in ESG” during the Chemistry Council of New Jersey’s (CCNJ) Plant Operation Management Workshop. Environmental\, Social\, and Governance (ESG) issues are an emerging trend across the country and the world. This presentation will cover the basics of ESG and recent developments\, including the SEC’s proposed Climate Disclosure Rule released on March 21. Included in this presentation is an explanation of how greenhouse gas emissions from operations are designated as Scope 1\, 2 and 3 emissions. This presentation also focuses on the implication of mandatory GHG reporting for both publicly-traded companies subject to the SEC’s proposed rule and privately-held companies indirectly affected by the rule.
