DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, December 15\, 2020\, Attorney Don Bluedorn will co-present “Implicit Bias in Legal Settings – Why and How to Disrupt It\,” to the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association for Corporate Counsel (ACC). This session will define Implicit Bias and identify ways in which it poses challenges for groups under-represented in the legal profession. The presenters will discuss the Bostock decision and how Implicit Bias affects hiring and other personnel decisions\, including work assignments in a law firm or corporate law department. The panel will also answer participants’ questions and identify practical measures to interrupt Implicit Bias and work toward a more diverse and inclusive work environment.
