Acquisitions & Development

Our team has extensive knowledge and experience in the commercial real estate industry to handle property acquisitions and dispositions and large and small real estate development projects. While representing clients in the purchase or sale of industrial and manufacturing facilities, brownfield sites, office buildings, shopping centers, restaurants, apartment complexes or other properties, we offer multi-faceted representation which includes due diligence, structuring, construction, environmental, financing, taxation, zoning and land use expertise. This experience allows us to also guide landowners, developers and lenders with complex real estate development projects such as condominiums, shopping centers, industrial parks, utility and industrial facilities and large, mixed-use developments. We work with local and state governments and utilize the expertise of our zoning and land use experts to comprehensively and efficient advise on development projects.

As an example of our representative clients, we currently serve as counsel to an industrial development corporation, providing representation in sale and purchase of large industrial, commercial and office properties, leasing, financing, title matters, contracts and corporate governance. We have also been retained by a large communications company to act as its national real estate counsel, drafting and negotiating leases and easements, reviewing surveys and procuring and satisfying the conditions necessary to issue title insurance.
