Safiya Boucaud-Robinson is an associate in the Energy and Natural Resources Group of Babst Calland. Her practice focuses primarily on counseling various energy, oil, gas and mineral-related clients on transaction matters, including title examination, title curative, oil and gas title opinions, and due diligence.
In 2005, Ms. Boucaud-Robinson graduated cum laude from St. Francis College where she earned a B.A. in International Studies. She is a 2011 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, from which she earned a Certificate in Environmental Law, Science and Policy. As a law student, Ms. Boucaud-Robinson served as associate editor for JURIST, the law school’s award winning legal news and research service. Ms. Boucaud-Robinson also served as a certified legal intern at the law school’s Environmental Law Clinic serving low-income individuals and corporations in matters relating to land use, mining and water quality issues.
Prior to joining Babst Calland, Ms. Boucaud-Robinson worked as an oil and gas title attorney for a Texas-based energy law firm in its Canonsburg, Pennsylvania office.
Memberships and Affiliations
Ms. Boucaud-Robinson is admitted to practice before the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation (EMLF).
