Ellen R. Terry

Area of Emphasis

Ellen Terry is an associate in the Energy and Natural Resources Group of Babst Calland.  Her practice focuses primarily on counseling various energy, oil, gas, and mineral-related clients on transaction matters, including title examination, title curative, oil and gas title opinions, and due diligence.

Background

Prior to joining Babst Calland, Ms. Terry worked on title and curative matters for an Oklahoma-based land services company and as an analyst in the title group for an oil and gas company.

Ms. Terry graduated cum laude from Hunter College of the City University of New York in 2007 with a B.A. in Creative Writing. She received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2011. After law school, she clerked for a Court of Common Pleas judge and worked as an associate in a small law firm, where she handled general practice matters including property law, family law and social security disability cases.
