Babst Calland Names Veltri Shareholder
PITTSBURGH, January 2, 2013 – Babst Calland, Pennsylvania’s fastest growing law firm, recently named Peter J. Veltri a shareholder in the firm.
Mr. Veltri is a member of the firm’s Business Services and Energy & Natural Resource groups. Mr. Veltri has a significant amount of experience in representing the coal and natural gas industries in a wide variety of commercial matters. His practice areas include representing clients in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and real estate agreements, and advising clients with respect to business planning and structuring.
Mr. Veltri is a 2005 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and a member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations.
He has been recognized as one of Pennsylvania’s up-and-coming lawyers, according to an annual survey published in Philadelphia magazine.
