Collaboration Apps
A recent survey reviewing available construction technology led to this conclusion in a recent article published in ENR: “Collaboration and web services are becoming the norm on more and more projects and transforming how the industry operates.” Some of the specific applications that received the most favorable reviews by those completing the survey included Bluebeam Revu for the iPad (used to view PDF plans and mark up project files in a collaborative manner) and Autodesk’s BIM 360 Field (formerly Vela Systems) (focused on combining construction management and BIM).
