Babst Calland joins the PA State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS) for its Annual Educational Conference and Exhibit Show, April 19-22, 2026. This Conference offers unparalleled training and networking opportunities for township officials and employees and is the biggest municipal exhibit show of its kind in Pennsylvania.

Municipal Attorneys Betsy Dupuis and Morgan Madden will present “Best Management Practices for People, Politics & the Public.” This workshop will focus on navigating high-conflict scenarios that may arise in the management of a township. The presentation will include discussion on managing personnel issues, wayward elected officials, and passionate members of the public.

Morgan will also present “Don’t Shake on It.” This workshop will focus on crafting and enforcing strong written documents for personnel management. The presentation will cover job descriptions, performance evaluations, discipline, separation, and employment agreements. The session will be tailored to suit the needs of both union and non-union employers.
