Participants will explore key topics like bid thresholds, bidding versus obtaining a quote, and how to navigate unique circumstances like emergencies or last-minute changes to bid specifications. The discussion will cover post-bid processes, including contract management, handling change orders, bonding requirements (performance and payment), and how to best address delays or penalties in project completion.  Finally, it’ll review best practices for common issues like responding to Right-to-Know Law requests, conducting compliant bid openings, and adapting to evolving bid advertising practices in a landscape with fewer traditional print outlets.
