Evan M. Baylor
Areas of Emphasis
Evan Baylor is an associate in the Firm’s Washington, D.C. office and a member of the Environmental Group. Mr. Baylor provides advice to clients regarding compliance with state and federal environmental regulations.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Baylor worked as an Honors Attorney for the United States Department of Transportation (DOT), where he managed diverse assignments including performing final legal and policy review of environmental documents for the Office of the Secretary, updating DOT orders on environmental policies, advising client offices on Environmental Impact Statements and Environmental Assessments, and briefing DOT leadership on legal and policy issues.
Mr. Baylor earned his J.D. magna cum laude from Vermont Law School in 2019. While in law school, he served on the Senior Editorial Board of the Vermont Law Review and was a Student Clinician in the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Clinic. He was also a Debevoise Moot Court Competition Finalist and recipient of the President’s Leadership Award. Mr. Baylor received his B.A. in International Studies from Centre College in 2016.
