Jessica L. Altobelli

Area of Emphasis

Jessica Altobelli is an associate in the Litigation and Employment and Labor groups of Babst Calland. Ms. Altobelli has a broad range of litigation experience in several practice areas including employment, general liability, transportation, and school district defense. As part of her employment practice, she regularly defends employers in state and federal court litigation and administrative proceedings arising out of all aspects of the employment relationship.

Background

Ms. Altobelli received her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2016. At Duquesne, she participated extensively in the school’s Civil Rights Clinic, both as a student attorney and later as the clinic’s student manager. Ms. Altobelli was a recipient of the Public Interest Law Association fellowship, which afforded her the opportunity to serve as a certified legal intern at Neighborhood Legal Services. Prior to attending law school, she graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a B.A. in Psychology.  Ms. Altobelli currently serves on the Board of Directors at Neighborhood Legal Services.

Memberships and Affiliations

Ms. Altobelli is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.  She is a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar associations. Ms. Altobelli serves on the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Committee to Advance Professionalism and the Women’s Initiative Committee at Babst Calland.
