Nicholas M. Faas

Nicholas Faas is an associate in the Corporate and Commercial and Emerging Technologies groups of Babst Calland. Mr. Faas represents business clients in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and general corporate, governance and commercial transaction matters, with a focus on technology, real estate, and energy sectors.


Mr. Faas received his B.S. in Psychology from Brigham Young University in 2010. He graduated with honors from Emory University School of Law in 2014. Mr. Faas earned Emory Law’s Transactional Certificate for completing a set of courses focused on transactional law and a legal externship with the Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta that focused on resolving transactional issues for clients. Also, he was a Managing Editor of the Emory International Law Review. Prior to joining Babst Calland, Mr. Faas was an associate in the environmental practice of a Pittsburgh law firm, where he primarily counseled clients on environmental risks and issues associated with industrial transactions.

Memberships and Affiliations

Mr. Faas is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar associations. He received a Best Lawyers®: Ones to Watch recognition from BL Rankings for Administrative/Regulatory Law and Government Relations Practice since 2021.
